Packaged units are typically gas or electrical comfort system 14 SEER cooling efficiency and 81% AFUE heating efficiency and provide homes with warm air for the winter months and cool air for the summer months. Packaged units are typically installed outdoors, on the ground or on the roof, making them versatile for both horizontal or down-flow applications. Packaged units come in one space-saving cabinet. Its cabinet contains the evaporator, condenser, compressor, and all other parts of the air conditioner. Supply and return ducts connect to this outdoor cabinet.

Maintenance

Pictured on the left is a RUUD condenser coil that is coated with filth. Clogged outdoor coils will lower the efficiency of your comfort system and could cause damage to the compressor.

Note: Without regular maintenance, an air conditioner loses approximately 5 % of its original efficiency for each year of operation. System with regular maintenance can maintain up to 95% of its original efficiency.

Furnace Vent

Refrigerant leaks

If your air conditioner is low on refrigerant, either it was undercharged at installation, or it leaks. If it leaks, simply adding refrigerant is not a solution. Our experts can assist to fix a leak, test the repair, and then charge the system with the correct amount refrigerant.

Note: Remember that the performance and efficiency of your air conditioner is important.

Pictured on the left is a BRYANT 16 SEER condenser coil that is leaking and has no clearance from the wall. Our experts repaired the leak and made a 12 inche clearance from the wall.

Thermostat

One of the biggest areas where poor behavior occurs is in thermostat operation. We recommend that you set your temperature at 78 for cooling and 72 for heating when you use your system.

Are you aware if the existing evaporator coil is left in place, when replacing an older or failed split system, in fact , the old coil could cause the new Condenser or Compressor to fail prematurely.

Furnace Repair & Installation

This furnace is primarily designed for residential home-heating applications. Furnace units are typically installed indoor in the attic space, crawl space, or garage area.

Note: In this picture, Furnace Goodman installed in the garage with flex gas line, sediment trap, manual shutoff valve, straight pipe, flue pipe, 115 VAC power supply connected and grounded (note: line polarity must be observed when making connections for correct operation ) 24 volt line, filter base for easy access to replace filter.
